With the start of Florida’s legislative session looming, we’ve put the final touches on our annual League Lobby Days.
This is one of our most important events every year. Join League members and supporters from across the state as we take over the Florida Capitol to advocate for the causes we believe in and defend our democracy!
Never lobbied before? Don’t fret! We give you all you need on-site to be an effective advocate. Lobby Days begins with a comprehensive training that includes an update on the current climate of the Florida legislature, lobbying techniques and in-depth information regarding our 2020 legislative priorities. After the training, our staff and board will aide in getting groups into pre-scheduled meetings with lawmakers.
